We're seeking an experienced HSEQ Senior Advisor to lead our Health, Safety, Environment and Quality framework, strengthen compliance outcomes, and influence a positive safety culture across our operations.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Legal, the HSEQ Senior Advisor plays a critical role in protecting our people, clients and business through the effective management of health, safety, environmental and quality risks. The role provides expert advice, training, assurance and governance support while ensuring compliance with legislative, contractual and certification requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HSEQ professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, driving continuous improvement and influencing operational outcomes.

This role could be located in VIC / NSW / SA or QLD.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead the planning, coordination and management of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification audits.
• Maintain and continuously improve the organisation's Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Develop and implement HSEQ governance frameworks, policies, procedures and risk controls.
• Conduct internal audits and act as the key liaison for external audits.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and translate requirements into practical business solutions.
• Partner with leaders and operational teams to strengthen HSEQ capability and compliance.
• Deliver training, mentoring and coaching on HSEQ matters across the business.
• Support incident management, investigations and corrective actions.
• Conduct client and operational compliance audits and provide practical improvement recommendations.
• Support supplier compliance and HSEQ system implementation initiatives.
• Contribute to Modern Slavery reporting and Labour Hire Licensing compliance requirements.

About You

To be successful, you will bring:

• Formal qualifications in Safety Management, Quality Management or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated HSEQ experience across complex or multi-site operational environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, particularly across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, ACT, Western Australia and Tasmania.
• Experience managing ISO-certified management systems and certification audits.
• A strong understanding of risk management, compliance and assurance processes.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Proven experience delivering training and coaching initiatives.
• Outstanding organisation, planning and communication skills.
• A practical, solutions-focused approach with the ability to balance compliance requirements with business needs.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members will be highly regarded.
